DHL eCommerce

Overview

ShipScience connects to a DHL eCommerce-hosted SFTP server to download invoice and tracking data for your account. Claims are filed through DHL Vantage, DHL's claims management portal.

Setup requires two things:

Invoice and tracking ingestion — SFTP credentials provided by DHL eCommerce for your account.
Claims filing — access to DHL Vantage (currently in private beta).

Invoice and Tracking Ingestion

DHL eCommerce hosts a per-client SFTP server that ShipScience connects to daily for invoice and tracking files. Request the following details from your DHL eCommerce representative and enter them in the ShipScience portal under Data Sources.

Detail	Description
SFTP server hostname	The server address provided by DHL eCommerce
Port	Typically `22`
Username	SFTP login username
Password or SSH key	Authentication credential for the SFTP connection
Remote folder path for invoices	Directory where DHL places invoice files
Remote folder path for tracking files	Directory where DHL places tracking files

If DHL eCommerce separates current and historical files into different folders, request both paths and provide them to ShipScience.

DHL Vantage (Claims Filing)

DHL Vantage is DHL eCommerce's portal for filing and managing claims.
